About Mark Nagurka

MARK NAGURKA received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from M.I.T. 

​

He was a mechanical engineering professor at Carnegie Mellon University and at Marquette University. He is currently a professor emeritus of mechanical engineering and of biomedical engineering at Marquette.

​

His professional research interests are in the design of mechanical and electromechanical systems.

​

His passion is STEM education. He feels a special privilege to mentor high school and college students.

He is an avid photographer and enjoys nature and travel.
